Filmmakers
Andrew Perreault, a graduate of the University of Virginia's engineering school, created Proactive Pictures in the summer of 2007 and serves as producer. Prior to entering the filmmaking industry, he worked as a civil engineer involved with a diverse set of projects located in Washington, DC. Mr. Perreault's initiative and work ethic embody the vision of Proactive Pictures - to realize the inherent benefits of integrating the art and business of filmmaking into a cohesive organization. Mr. Perreault's passion for film and capital ventures has led him to this opportunity, one combining artistic creativity with a successful business model.
Mark Perreault is a writer and filmmaker from Virginia. A graduate of Boston College, he began his professional career in the Development Department of the Boston Symphony Orchestra. In addition to collaborating in the creation of the book, lyrics and music for a Boston-based musical, he has written scores for many film, television, and commercial projects, including "Malefactor," a New York film which premiered at the Pawtucket Film Festival. Mr. Perreault currently lives in Los Angeles, CA.
Rock Schroeter is an award-winning filmmaker from San Francisco, CA. He graduated from San Francisco State University in 2001 with a BA in Cinema and has since written and directed several one-act plays and short films. His short documentary "Guys and Dolls" played at South by Southwest in 2003, won best short film at a Colorado film festival, and won best short documentary at an Arizona film festival. Mr. Schroeter currently lives in Phoenix, AZ.
Jonathan Edwards is a cinematographer from Northern California. A graduate of the Los Angeles Film School with honors in cinematography, Mr. Edwards currently works in the Los Angeles area on various projects including shooting and editing behind the scenes segments for the popular soap opera "Days of Our Lives." Mr. Edwards currently lives in Glendale, CA.
